not here for the all-things-peanut butter propaganda. check the IG for hot takes on why this is kind of a problem, sorry not sorry. not here ever to throw shade on whole foods, but when we consistently put omega-6 bombs in our bodies (aka peanut butter), that are always roasted nonetheless (aka inflammatory oils), it can become a problem. there's lots of examples of this, but i'll save that for another hot take.
the solution situation (COOKIES !!) ~~
all organic:
2 extra ripe bananas
1.5 c cooked chickpeas (rinsed well and drained, if using canned)
1/2 c maple
1/3 c Superfree Maca Butter
dash vanilla
~blend in blender~
add to mixing bowl with:
1 1/3 c raw almond meal
1 t baking soda
pinch Maldon salt
~ stir well ~
chop up ~1/2 c Hu Kitchen gems (or dark choc of choice :)
fold in to batter, lovingly
reserve some extra for topping each cookie
add a pinch of sea salt on top of each, as well
add to parchment-covered baking sheet
bake @ 350F for 20-22 min
